Biography

T.-C. Shen got his Ph.D. in theoretical physics from the University of Maryland in 1986. From 1989 he began working on surface science at the University of Illinois and joined Utah State University in 1999.


Teaching Interests

I am interested in teaching all core physics courses from undergraduate to graduate levels. I am also interested in interdisciplinary subjects such as nanotechnology and science in societal context.

Research Interests

My current interest is developing novel nanoscale solid-state devices for sensing and energy conversion.
